Goldratt’s Theory of Constraints, outlined in his classic piece of educational fiction, The Goal, is a great place to start if you don’t know where to start.
- Pick a Goal.
- Identify constraints between the current setting and your goal.
- Remove the biggest known constraints.
- Achieve Goal.
