Global vaccine production in 2019 was about 4 billion doses; Covid-19 is forecast to be 12 billion doses, with as many as 15 billion needed. A typical US household consumes 300 gallons per day (Source: USGS) – which would be 400,000 litres per year.

Strictly on a volume standpoint, global vaccine production is about equivalent to a small neighborhood (20 – 80 homes).
